I do like the slightly more fluid look. I understand it is at night, but is there any other reason you made it so dark? It’s a lot less like your other strips. Is that part of the drawing experimentation too?
The dark quality isn’t part of an experiment. It probably looks dark overall because Lee’s statue is in a lot of the panels. He doesn’t reflect light very well. All the greys are directly sampled from previous strips to keep it consistent, but I did make Lee a tad darker than his first appearance in strip #3 to contrast more with the night sky.
