Photographing RVA

by bizhan on 08.03.2012 at 10:39 am

I was approached by Nick Kotula to participate somehow in this great project of his, Photographing RVA. Currently, neither of us know how, but I am sure that it will be fun for us and entertaining for you.

Nick visits various historical sites in the city and comments on their importance as well as makes a few witty comments about viewing them in today's context.

Below is a plug for his project in his own words:
"Richmond, you sit perched on your seven hills, positively reeking of southern charm! I am going to explore your nooks and discover your crannies!

Will there be history? Yes! Will there be entertainment? Most assuredly! Will there be adventure? It seems quite likely! Most importantly… there will be pictures!

Join me, Nick Kotula, as I delve into the City of Richmond, Virginia. We will discover it’s history, the people who live here, and the river and the flora and fauna that call it home. Along the way we might just learn a little something about ourselves."

Enjoy

Richmond Monument Print Signing!

by bizhan on 06.01.2012 at 10:02 am

Hello all,

I will be signing Richmond Monument archival art prints tonight, Friday, June 1st,2012, between 6:30 and 8-ish at Quirk Gallery (311 West Broad Street Richmond, VA 23220). I have prints from the first strip up until "Inside The Box." Archival prints are super nice art prints that are guaranteed to last for 100 years. Whoa, that's a lot of years. See you there.

I will also be selling and signing other art prints such as my Richmond parody of Clash of the Titans, Good 50X70 healthcare poster, Gabriel Prosser's ghost fighting militia men zombies, screen-printed May Day posters and some shirt designs.
